About us

Since the company was founded, we have been working nationally and internationally on over 1000 wind turbines every year. Thanks to these many years of activity, we can draw on an extensive portfolio of expertise and experience and make it available to you. Various operators, plant operators and plant manufacturers are our customers.

We have the appropriate logistics and infrastructure in terms of personnel, equipment and access technology, such as our own rotor blade access systems (open platforms from various manufacturers and sizes as well as single-house platforms) and rope technology, to carry out inspections, repairs and maintenance on rotor blades, turbine towers and their components.

SKalia GmbH has a permanent staff of around 40 service technicians. This is increased by additional technicians during the season. In addition to various access technologies, our qualified service teams are proficient in various maintenance and repair procedures for rotor blades, turbine towers and components. Our employees receive specialised training on a regular basis. The combination of their many years of work experience and their close co-operation with the leading wind turbine manufacturers means that they always have the latest know-how.

SKalia GmbH works with a certified management system in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN ISO 14001 and DIN ISO 45001 standards. SKalia GmbH is also a rotor blade repair organisation approved by Germanischer Lloyd.

At our training centre in Bergen auf Rügen, experienced trainers provide practical training and further education for rope access technicians/industrial climbers.
